Color blindness is the inability or decreased capacity to see and interpret color. It is almost always an inherited condition passed on through the genetic line in your family. In some cases, damage to the eye can cause color blindness as well, however these cases are rare.
There are 3 main types of color vision defects. Red-green color vision defects are the most common ones. This type occurs in men more often than in women. The other major types are blue-yellow color vision defects and a complete absence of color vision.Treatment
There is no treatment for color blindness, but most people adjust and the condition doesn't limit their daily functioning in life. However, it is extremely important to know about color blindness for certain occupations.CAUTION
