It's extremely important to know whether you may be suffering depression when you've had low moods for a prolonged period of time. Firstly, depression --- despite its debilitating nature --- is very treatable. Treatment may include anything from regular exercise, to cognitive behavioral therapy, to antidepressant medications to help ease the symptoms.
Secondly, depression which stresses the body is associated with a higher risk of nearly every major health issue from diabetes to heart disease. Indeed, depression is the leading cause of physical disability in the world! As in all Healthism screenings, it is best if you are honest about how you are feeling precisely at this moment when taking this screening.
